“You can’t be anything you want, but you can be everything you are.”

This quote grasped me as I was listening to Ed Mylett  podcast with Jay Shetty. And it made me really reflect…

How many of us grew up being told we can be anything we want?

How many us grew up being told we need to become a doctor or lawyer, etc?

Now how many of grew up being told we can be everything we are?

Did you know that everything you’re meant to be (your life’s purpose) was already placed on your heart before you were born?  God has a plan for you.  He has given you a purpose and all the gifts you need to fulfill it and use it to serve others.  Your purpose can not be fulfilled by anyone else.  Have you found yourself down a path thinking it’s your purpose only to come to find out we only went down that road because someone gave us directions to get there? We took a path that was already forged (it was easier to see what the future would look like) or we took some roads because we were influenced by the success of someone else’s  journey thinking we can do the same, but guess what? Your not supposed to do the same.

Your purpose is a discovery.  Some of us might know our purpose, while others don’t quite know it yet…and that’s ok.  It just means you need more experience for it to develop.  You need to find what makes your heart dance, your passion sing, and your light shine the brightest 🌟. And when you do..OH IT’S THE BEST DISCOVERY EVER!!!  Your heart feels like it’s on fire with all of that passion boiling in you ❤️‍🔥

So rather than trying to become anything you want, become everything you already are and grow it, invest in it, care for it, love it, and shine it as bright as it’s meant to be 🌟
