Collection: Liberation Moth Collection
Does it upset you as much as it disgusts and saddens me and others that men, women & children's lives are being bought, sold, and abused across the world and right here in our own communities? Do you want to stand up against the "modern day slavery?" I know I do and that is why I felt so compelled to use art to do something about it.
As I was trying to think of a name for this collection I knew for sure I wanted it to relate to the message of being free (as I believe the victims should be rescued and freed form this horrible "modern day slavery"). I recall looking up the symbolic meaning of moths which is:
"A moth's meaning is to trust the changes that are happening and the freedom and liberation are around the corner."
The word "liberation" grasped my attention so I researched the definition:
"noun: liberation; the act of setting someone free from imprisonment, slavery, or oppression; release"
That's when I knew I wanted to create a moth collection!
Art is powerful when dedicated to God, and using it to help others and make a positive difference in this world. And I have the faith and determination that along with your support by collecting a piece today, we can & will make a positive difference by raising awareness/ donating more to help save the lives of victims.
Collecting art = Making a positive difference!
