Fun Fact: the Hawaiian name Kelii means “chief.” I thought this was the perfect name for this fella. I saw lots of chickens on the Hawaiian Island Kauai. There was a chicken who actually walked up to me while I was drawing near a beach so I couldn’t resist drawing a chicken 😆 Oh and let me tell ya… while watching chickens you could definitely pick out which ones were the chiefs of the flocks. To me this drawing “Kelii” is the chief chicken 🤭 🐓
